Take our guided Louvre tour to discover the key masterpieces of the museum with one of our knowledgeable & informative English speaking Tour Guides. First of all, our Chauffeur will pick you up from your Paris hotel / apartment, where our Tour Guide will accompany you with priority entrance tickets into the museum.

The tour covers the most famous works, e.g. Venus de Milo, Wedding Feast at Cana, Mona Lisa, Raft of the Medusa & the ornate Apollo Gallery. So, it’s said, it would take around 100 days to view all the pieces in the Louvre!

Fortress to Palace to Museum

In the Middle Ages, in order to protect Paris & the river banks, Philippe Auguste decided to build a fortress, le Louvre. Initially, located on the outskirts, the city grew around it & as a result, it’s now in the heart of Paris. Over the years, the dark imposing fortress was rebuilt & transformed into a royal residence under Francois I, to later become the palace of the Sun King, Louis XIV. Today, it’s the largest art museum in the world.

After the tour, you can explore the Louvre or the neighborhood at your leisure.
